Hello everyone! My name is Hunter Zbarsky and I am currently a junior studying Journalism/Sports Media at the University of Florida. I am from West Palm Beach, Florida and have lived in Florida my entire life. My expected graduation date is Spring 2026.
My career goal is to become a sports broadcaster for the Premier League in England. Growing up I have always loved the game of soccer, and I would like to make a career out of covering the best soccer league in the world. Another career interest of mine is being a play-by-play commentator for a professional hockey team.
My biggest and most consistent hobby is flying planes. I received my Private Pilot license at the age of 17, and then added my instrument rating in the Spring of 2023. While on the ground, I enjoy going to the beach and reading, spending time with my friends, and watching/attending all types of sporting events.
This website will give a brief introduction into who I am, what skills I have learned, and what my vision for the future includes. I am looking to learn how technology can be used to help boost my learning in the field of journalism and communication.
