The NSLS is the nation's largest leadership honor society. Students are selected by their college for membership based on either academic standing or leadership potential. Candidacy is a nationally recognized achievement of honorable distinction.

In April of 2020, I was inducted into the National Society Of Leadership & Success as a Presidential Member because of my dedication and commitment to serving others and for my academic success. Before induction, I had to complete various guest speaker events as well as coordinate small leadership groups with my peers.

Phi Theta Kappa recognizes the academic achievement of college students and provides opportunities for its members to grow as scholars and leaders. More than 3.5 million students have been inducted since 1918, with approximately 250,000 active members in the nation’s community colleges, making Phi Theta Kappa a true catalyst among members and colleges.

In May of 2020, I was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society because of my dedication and commitment to my academic success. While an active member I had to opportunity to participate in various improvement and research projects on campus.

The Student Support Services is a federally funded TRIO program granted by the U.S. Department of Education. The program provides opportunities that are aimed at enhancing students’ academic development, assists students with their academic progress, and motivates students toward successful completion of their post-secondary education.

In August of 2020, I joined the TRiO program at Davidson-Davie Community College and was given the opportunity to participate in many workshops and cultural events to which gave me an enhanced perspective on a wide variety of topics.
