Hello, my name is Hunter Marsh and I am a long-time resident of Thomasville, North Carolina. My favorite color is green, I enjoy listening to pop music, my favorite movies are from the Jurassic World franchise, & I currently have 2 dogs named Gander & Sierra.
I am a graduate of Davidson-Davie Community College where I received my Associates Of Applied Science degree with a major in Information Technology. I have a strong passion for technology and have educational experience with hardware/software support, networking, cybersecurity, & Windows 10.
I have been described by my peers and colleagues as hardworking, responsible, & organized. I always strive to help others when needed and I always give my dedication to a task or project.
I graduated from East Davidson High School in Thomasville, North Carolina on June 9th, 2018. While a student at East Davidson I was on the Yearbook team and served as the Business Manager, Social Media Manager, Senior Editor, and Photographer during my senior year. Upon graduating I was awarded the distinction of Cum Laude Honors for my academic success & for my 3.8 GPA.
I graduated from Davidson-Davie Community College in Thomasville, North Carolina on May 14th, 2021. While attending Davidson-Davie I was inducted into 2 honor societies on campus: NSLS and PTK. I was also actively involved in the SSS TRiO program on campus while also working as their work-study. Upon graduating, I was awarded the distinction of high honors for my academic success & for my 3.9 GPA
Currently employed at Gexpro Services as an Inside Sales Representative for the Sales department. At Gexpro Services, I have the following duties:
Process telephone orders by quoting product prices, delivery specifications, and payment terms and by offering substitute products where appropriate.
Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
Communicating with customers to understand their needs, identify sales opportunities, source products, and make both inbound and outbound calls to process sales orders and monitor customer fulfillment.
Research and report pricing, products, and current/future market trends information.
Processes product quotations and provides continuous follow-up throughout the completion of the customer's purchasing cycle.
Handle multiple customer inquiries, process orders, and resolve customer issues promptly using root-cause analysis.
Employed at Hughes Supply Company of Thomasville as a Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative for the sales department. At Hughes Supply, I had the following duties:
Operate office machines, such as copiers, printers, phone systems, and personal computers.
Answer telephones, direct calls, take messages, and manage multiline switchboard.
Assist and screen front lobby visitors.
Assist customers via emails, phone & face to face to answer any questions or concerns they may have.
Process and enter purchase orders into the database via email, fax, or phone.
Manage customer accounts to confirm and update purchase orders promptly.
Assist billing office with filing, record keeping, and order invoicing.
