I believe that DMG Mori buys their robots from FANUC because building everything in-house comes with many issues such that allowing the economies of scale that come from buying from a larger, more established company like FANUC to cut costs is cheaper. DMG Mori, at the absolute maximum, would only have to produce about 1000 of their own in-house robots if they were to build it in-house. This means that they would have to pay the flat fees of designing, maintenance, and all the other costs associated with building 1000 robots on their own. Compared to outsourcing the entire process to FANUC, DMG Mori must have analyzed their service to be cheaper than doing everything on their own.

For me, when I can't learn from the first lecture, I like using flash cards. The repetitive learning process helps me absorb information incredibly quickly. I also like watching youtube videos on whatever subject that I am studying. KhanAcademy and The Organic Chemistry Tutor have helped me through my AP Calculus AB class and I think that taking notes and working through example problems helps me pick up patterns and know what kinds of problems I'll see on the homework.
