Dr. Mo Hu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Construction Science at Texas A&M (Profile). Before joining Texas A&M, Dr. Mo Hu was a Postdoctoral Scholar under the supervision of Professor Kosa Goucher-Lambert at UC Berkeley Co-Design Lab. She obtained a Master's and Ph.D. in Construction Engineering and Management from Virginia Tech advised by Professor Tripp Shealy and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Tongji University, China.

Open Positions
One fully-funded Ph.D. position starting in Fall 2025 will be available in the Department of Construction Science at Texas A&M under the supervision of Dr. Mo Hu. The successful applicants will work on interdisciplinary research topics related to sustainability, decision-making, neuroscience, and human-AI interaction. Specific topics include but are not limited to:
1. Sustainable design and nudge
2. Design neurocognition
3. Human-AI/robot interaction
Requirements:
1. Desirable backgrounds include Construction Management, Architecture Engineering, Civil Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, and Neuroscience.
2. Strong self-motivation, good communication, and writing skills
3. Demonstrated expertise and strong interests in relevant fields, such as human subjects research, computation modeling, and neuroscience.
