This is Hummet’s (“Hummet,” “us,” “us,” or “our”) privacy policy, which is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service. Please read on to learn more about our data processing practices. By accessing or using our Hummet mobile application (the “App”) or all services provided therein or related to it (collectively referred to in this Privacy Policy as the “Services”), you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service. When you visit the Site or App, we may collect data from you as described below. When you register and use an account with us, we will collect your data in order to provide the Service. The type of data we collect depends on how you use our apps and services.
2. Information We Collect
When you visit and use our Site or App, we collect certain personally identifiable information about you so that we can provide services to you.
2.1 Register an account
When you install the Services on your device and/or register for a Hummet account, personal and/or non-personally identifiable information about you may be collected. Information You Provide (Optional) - You may also choose to provide other personally identifiable information, such as photos or videos of yourself, a description of yourself, and information about your interests. For example, you can indicate your interests on your profile page. Providing such information is entirely optional. We store this on our servers and use it to facilitate your use of the Services - for example, we may synchronize your Hummet account between the different devices you use to access our Services.
2.2 Other third parties and affiliated companies
We may receive information about you from third parties, such as partners who help us evaluate the safety and quality of content on our platform, our corporate affiliates, and other services you link to your account. We use the information we receive to operate our services.
2.3 Log data
When you view content on or otherwise interact with our Services, we receive information that we refer to as "Log Data."
For example, we may receive information about you when you visit our website, log into our services, interact with our email notifications, and authenticate to third-party services using your account. This log data includes information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, configuration information provided by the Hummet application, referring web pages, pages visited, location, your mobile operator, device information (including device and application) ID), search terms (including those not submitted as queries), and cookie information. When you click, view or interact with links or connections on our Services, we also receive log data and general information about your communications on Hummet, such as the users you communicate with and the date and duration of the communications (But does not include general information about your communications on Hummet). The content of such communications, unless required for safety and security reasons), including when and if you install other applications through our Services. We use log data to operate our Service and ensure its safe, reliable and robust performance. The purpose of using log data is to protect the security of accounts and determine what is popular on our services, and importantly, to enable you to connect with new and previous connections on Hummet.
2.4 While using the Application
Hummet may collect and store information about the devices you use to install and access the Application.
Hummet may collect and store information about your and others’ usage and activity within the App and our website. We require that your device has permission to use and reproduce your profile photo and any photos/media files you choose to share so that they can be reproduced within the App and our website. We need to have access to your camera/microphone so that we can provide you with video services
2.5 age
The Service does not allow persons under the age of 18 to register or use it. We may collect your age information to ensure that underage users cannot register or use our services. If we discover that we have inadvertently received or collected personally identifiable information from users under the age of 18 as part of the Service, we will delete such information from our records. If you are under 18 years old, please do not use this service.
2.6 When you visit our website
We may use online tracking technologies, such as cookies, pixel tags, web beacons and other similar technologies to automatically collect the following information:
Your visits to our website, such as your browsing history, how long you spend on our website and the frequency of your visits.
Location information provided by your mobile or other device when you interact with our website, including your IP address and general geographic location.
The device you use to browse our Site, such as your device ID, operating system, device type, browser type and version, mobile application crashes and other system activity, and the third-party website you used before interacting with our Services .
3. Third-party links
The Services may contain content from third-party platforms, and if you visit a website or application provided by a third party (including through an application or website), the third party may also collect information about you. Please refer to each third party’s privacy policy for more information about how they collect and use the information they collect about you. We do not own or control, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices of third-party websites or applications.
4. Purpose and use of personal information
We will only process your data in connection with the services and other related business purposes, including but not limited to the following:
4.1 Provide you with services, including:
- Connect you with other users within the application;
- Enable you to share your profile with other users on the Application;
- Provide you with the video calling function of the application;
- Allows you to send images and videos through the application;
4.2 Help us manage and maintain your account and user profile on the Application, including:
- Create and update your account;
- Send you any administrative notifications, alerts and communications related to your use of the Application;
- Use the information we have to develop, test and improve our services, including conducting surveys, compiling research, statistics and analysis of our users' habits and behavior, such as transaction history, online interactions and testing new products and features and implementing them troubleshooting;
4.3 For business administration purposes, we:
- To establish, exercise and/or defend our legal rights;
- Comply with our legal, regulatory and reporting requirements to regulators;
- Ensure user safety through content moderation;
- In connection with a corporate transaction involving Hummet, such as the purchase or sale of a business unit, acquisition, merger, sale of assets or other similar events;
- To enable us to provide you with services and our contractual commitments.
4.4 Information about our services:
We connect information about you and your activity on Hummet with other applications and services we offer to provide you with a broad range of engagement experiences and a more tailored and consistent experience when you use the Services.
5. Legal basis for processing your data
We have different legal bases for processing your data when you use our services. Based on these legal bases, we process your data for one or more of the following purposes:
- Performance of Contract: Necessary obligations in order to perform the terms of service with you.
- Legitimate interests: We need to process your data when we or a third party pursue legitimate interests (e.g. fraud prevention, information security, internal administrative purposes).
- Your consent: You consent to our processing of your personal information for specific purposes, such as providing services and fulfilling other requests you have made.

6. Sharing "Shared Information" with third-party partners
We provide information and content to our affiliates, vendors and service providers that support our business, such as providing technology infrastructure services, analyzing how our services are used, providing customer service, security services, or conducting surveys. In order to provide you with services, your information may be disclosed or transferred to other users or third-party partners for any of the above purposes, examples include:
- Your publicly visible information and personal data, such as your Hummet ID, name, gender, region, photo, date of birth.
- All information that you provide to other users or that other Hummet users provide about you.
- any relevant third parties.
- any professional advisers, including our legal advisers and auditors.
- Any regulatory agencies, law enforcement agencies, courts and other government agencies.
- Actual or proposed transferees or transferees of any part of our business or operations.
7.Share content
When you disclose or post information or content on the Application, please make sure you understand the following:
Publicity: Any information or content you voluntarily disclose or post on the Application (such as your User Content) will be available to the public. Once you share or make such User Content public, it may be viewed and re-shared by others. Once made public, it may not be possible to prevent the distribution of this content.
Deletion Does Not Mean Disappearance: Even if you delete any User Content you created or posted on the App (such as screenshots), copies of such User Content will still be accessible in the App’s cached and archived pages. Additionally, if other users or third parties have copied or saved such information, those copies may remain even if you delete the original content.
Personally Identifiable Information: Any personally identifiable information you share with other users in or through the App, in text messages, photos, videos, or otherwise, may be viewed and used by others. Please handle your personal information with caution, especially in public.
Liability: Hummet is not responsible for the use or misuse of information you share or submit. Please exercise caution when using the App, especially where personal privacy and sensitive information is involved.
8. Data Access and Deletion
You always have control over what information you choose to share with us on the App (other than the information we instruct you to provide). You can choose to delete your data at any time. If you ask us to delete your account, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to delete your data from our servers and comply with any applicable legal or other requirements to maintain certain records of your personally identifiable data. Please note that deletion of your personally identifiable data from our database may result in our inability to provide services to you.
To delete your data, click on "Settings" of your profile within the app > click on the "Delete Account" option > confirm the deletion.
You can also delete the account through our website [https://sites.google.com/view/hummet], find "Delete Account" at the top, click and go to the delete account page, fill in the user ID and verification code to delete the account. To ensure that the account belongs to you, you need to obtain a verification code within the app and fill it out on the delete account page.
9. Security
Hummet takes protecting the privacy and personal information of its users very seriously. We protect the privacy and security of all personally identifiable information you provide to us. We stress-test our systems to help us improve. Hummet implements appropriate technical and physical security measures, such as the use of password protection, access logs and system monitoring, to maintain the confidentiality and security of all user information and prevent any loss or unauthorized disclosure, use and modification. Access to all personally identifiable information is restricted to Humme employees, contractors, agents and third party partners and service providers who need to know that information to provide, operate, develop, maintain, support or improve the Services or otherwise fulfill this purpose For any purpose set out in the Privacy Policy. However, due to the inherent nature of the Internet and related technology, we do not guarantee that information under our control will not be lost, misused or altered.
Your information may be stored and processed in any country where Hummet or its service providers have facilities. Hummet reserves the right to transfer information outside of your country. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of any such information outside of your country. When we transfer personal information internationally, we take protective measures in accordance with applicable law.
10. Retention of your data
Your personal data will only be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy, unless we are required by law to retain it for a longer period. Once we no longer need your personal data, we will irreversibly anonymize it or securely delete it from our servers.
11. Your rights
Hummet wants to make sure you are fully aware of your rights to:
-You have the right to obtain confirmation from Hummet as to whether your personal information is being processed and, in this case, you can request a copy of your personal information.
-Your consent will provide Hummet with the lawful basis for processing your personal information. You can also withdraw your consent to processing.
-You have the right to request that Hummet correct any inaccurate personal information about you;
-You have the right to request the erasure of your personal information under certain circumstances; please note that your right to erasure may be limited if the data is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
12. Exercising your rights
You have the right to make a complaint about how Hummet manages your personal information. You may lodge a complaint with Hummet's Data Protection Officer, whose contact details are found in the Contact Information section below, or by email to hummet.userfeedback@proton.me.
13.Adjustment
We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time at our sole discretion. You can review updates to our privacy policy at any time via a link on our website. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by posting the revised Privacy Policy, a notice on our website, a pop-up notification on our apps, or as required by law. You agree to review the Privacy Policy periodically to be aware of any modifications. You agree that your continued use of the Service after we post a revised Privacy Policy or provide notice on our website constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
