Our Team HMA Class brings together students ages 8 and up in a dynamic, challenging, and supportive martial arts environment. This program is designed to build strong fundamentals while encouraging personal growth, confidence, discipline, and leadership—whether students are brand new to martial arts or continuing their training journey.
Each high-energy class provides students with opportunities to grow physically and mentally through structured, age-appropriate instruction. Students will:
Train in Tae Kwon Do and Tang Soo Do open forms to improve precision, balance, coordination, and discipline
Practice kata, kicks, and hand strikes at intermediate to advanced levels, developing strength, agility, and technique
Learn practical self-defense skills that build confidence, awareness, and real-world preparedness
Participate in traditional weapons training, enhancing focus, control, and coordination
Engage in Kumite (light contact sparring) in a safe, controlled environment to improve speed, timing, strategy, and respect
Beyond physical training, Team HMA emphasizes important life skills such as perseverance, respect, self-discipline, and leadership. Older and more experienced students are encouraged to set positive examples, while younger students gain motivation and inspiration by training alongside peers at different stages of their journey.
