The Countdown to Kindergarten program is our beginner program for transition to school. 

This year our program will offer a range of open choice activities which include:

• Literature response / story time

• Maths

• Sensory play

• Construction

• Early writing / pre literacy 

• Art

• Science

• Physical education

• Dance

• Teddy bears picnic

• Treasure hunt

• Canteen visits

• Morning tea with the Principal

• Interaction with buddies

Students will also have opportunities to visit other classrooms, meet other Hume Public School staff, become familiar with the school environment and interact with the BIG school during outdoor play.
