As the creator of Human Voice Certified, I want to be fully transparent about where I stand on AI voice technology.
I’ve personally explored AI voice in my content. In fact, there are at least two published videos on my channel that feature AI-generated narration. One of them even uses a cloned version of my own voice. These experiments weren’t meant to deceive anyone—they were just that: experiments. I was curious about the technology and what it could offer. I still am.
But after trying it out, I found something missing. Even when the AI mimicked my cadence or tone, the results often felt... hollow. As if the soul of the narration—those subtle human inflections, the intent behind emphasis, the unpolished honesty—had been stripped away. That realization led me here.
So let me be clear: I am not a purist. I am not someone shouting “down with AI” or gatekeeping who gets to be a creator. I am not bitter or envious of the channels that use synthetic voiceovers and rack up millions of views. AI has its place. For accessibility, rapid prototyping, or simply lowering barriers to entry—it’s an amazing tool.
I just believe there’s still something sacred about a real voice. It’s like the difference between CGI and practical effects in film. CGI is powerful—it can create stunning visuals and worlds you’d never otherwise see. But practical effects? They feel tangible. They carry weight. They ground the viewer in something real, something felt. That’s what human voice does in digital content.
Human Voice Certified isn’t a crusade. It’s a celebration—of effort, presence, and personality. Of creators who lead with their own voice and deserve to be seen (or heard) for it.
If you’re one of those creators, welcome. You’re not alone.
