 What is Colors Without Borders?

Colors Without Borders is a gentle, global creative space for children and youth to express themselves freely through art, drawing, photos, videos, and simple stories.

This project is not a competition.
There are no winners, no scores, and no pressure.

We believe every child deserves a safe place to say:

“This is who I am. This is what I love.”

Through creativity, children can be seen, heard, and respected no matter where they live.

 What can children share?

Children can choose one or more activities, depending on what they enjoy most:

• Drawing or coloring

• Simple crafts or handmade art

• Photography (using a phone is enough)

• Short videos (showing their art, daily life, or creativity)

• Simple storytelling or explaining their artwork

There is no right or wrong way to participate.
The focus is creativity, joy, and self-expression.

 Who is this space for?

• Children and youth from different parts of the world

• Especially those with limited opportunities or access to creative platforms

• Children who want to share their talents, ideas, or stories

 English is NOT required.
Children may speak or create in their own language.
Art itself is a language.

 Why this project matters

Many children have creativity but no space to show it.
No audience. No encouragement. No platform.

Colors Without Borders exists to:

• Give children visibility without pressure

• Build confidence through creativity

• Create a sense of belonging and dignity

• Let children know their voices matter

Their work may be shared (with care and permission) on Quietkind Project’s platforms to celebrate their creativity.

 How participation works

1. Children (or guardians / volunteers) contact us

2. We talk gently about what the child would like to share

3. The child creates in their own time  no deadlines

4. The work is shared privately first

5. With permission, selected works may appear on our website or online platforms

Children always have the right to say yes or no.

 For volunteers & supporters

Volunteers can support this project by:

• Helping children submit their work

• Assisting with translation (optional)

• Supporting documentation or editing (photos/videos)

• Helping maintain a safe and respectful creative space

This is a remote, flexible, and gentle volunteer opportunity.
