Relax, Unwind, and Enjoy the quiet beauty of Nature along Virginia’s Northern Neck and the Chesapeake Bay with a Welcome "Basket" of Local Wine and Other Local Goods.

Where the Potomac River meets the Chesapeake Bay, in the town of Heathsville, Virginia, lies Hull Creek, a beautifully quiet tributary waiting for you to explore. Less than a mile upstream sits Spring Cove, your destination for a peaceful, calm, and private escape. You're in luck, because you may also arrive by car!

Hull House Cottage is a quaint, century-old house that has been updated with modern conveniences, and a subtle sense of old-meets-new accommodations. This home offers three bedrooms, two full modern bathrooms with step in glass showers, a lovely open-concept kitchen with stacked stone backsplash and butcherblock counters, living room, and a sun room with dining area and gas fireplace. The all-season sunroom overlooks a long, gentle slope to the waterside, complete with a private dock, and covered boat house.

Enjoy lounging on the spacious deck, or dine in the screened gazebo on the deck, set amongst flowers, hummingbirds and butterflies in the large fenced yard. Our private dock on the cove offers shallow salt water fishing, and crabbing – all without leaving the property. There is a sink and fish cleaning station at the dock, and an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water at the house, to leave the messy part of nature outdoors. (Some flora and fauna is seasonal.)

Love the water?

Kayaks, canoes, and similar small watercraft and inflatables can be launched from our dock or shore. Your trailered boat may be launched at the ramp nearby, or go to a nearby marina if deeper water is preferred. There is a lot of wildlife in the area, beaver, otter, turtles, fox, deer and more. While boating in Hull Creek, you may see some of the many water birds, such as great blue heron, green heron, osprey and bald eagles. Ingram Bay and the Chesapeake Bay have DOLPHINS, brown pelicans, cormorants, and LOGGERHEAD TURTLES. - Please contact the owners within 30 days of the auction to establish a line of communication.

- Please contact the owners at least 30-60 days before your desired dates.

- Children welcome (Please make prior arrangements if a highchair or a Pack 'n Play type item is requested.)

- Please look at the "Safety" page regarding water and home safety for children and others.

- No "parties" or gatherings that defy Virginia or CDC Guidelines****

- Guests are responsible for attaining any licenses and permits needed for fishing, boating, or hunting while in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

- Please plan to arrive no earlier than April 1, 2021, though there is some wiggle room here.

Winners will be welcomed by your hosts, if possible, and will be available for questions by phone/text/email.
