if your about to make your first kiss data, i highly recommend downloading the programs i use first, theyre all listed below! on the other side you can use paint + notepad and download directkiss or playfkiss. no need to follow other tutorials from the big kiss page just DONT download hyuus wsvc because if you open that program windows will tell you that it wont run on your pc. thats because you have an antivirus/firewall turned on so if you decide to turn it off you can say goodbye to your pc, so yea
grafx2 - a great program for making pixel art with up to 256 colors and exporting images to kiss cels and kcf files! programmed by sunset design in '96, based on deluxe paint for amiga consoles
gimp - can also export images to cel files, best for cropping images if grafx2 fucks up the cel images. even if you dont need to download grafx2, you can always export truecolor images to cherry kiss cels!Â
ultrakiss - java based kiss viewer programmed by the cellist and bronze artist william miles! ultrakiss does more than other kiss viewers, as it has an event wizard, compatibility mode and can export images to cel, gif, png and ppm, fkiss5 and many more... too bad that it doesnt have an import wizard like in editfkiss/playfkiss2
