HUG (HeirsUnderGod) helps adults move toward stability, independence, and a place to belong. We are working to open our first shared independent-living home for adults 18 and older, including veterans, adults with disabilities, and people rebuilding their lives after incarceration.
While our housing program is in development, we continue community outreach, feeding people experiencing homelessness, and building connections to helpful resources.
At HUG, independence means having the support, resources, and encouragement to move forward.
Our planned independent-living program will focus on:
🏠 Affordable Independent Living — Shared housing designed to provide stability, comfort, and a sense of belonging.
🍽️ Food & Household Essentials — Helping residents access everyday necessities.
💼 Employment & Career Support — Job-search assistance, résumé preparation, and connections to employment resources.
🎓 Education & Trade Opportunities — Encouraging personal growth through education, vocational training, and skill development.
🚗 Transportation Resources — Helping connect participants with transportation options for important appointments, employment, and daily needs.
🤝 Community & Connection — Activities, gatherings, and opportunities to give back.
Our first housing location is currently in development. Services will depend on available resources and program readiness.
