HUG (HeirsUnderGod) is a nonprofit rooted in faith, compassion, and the belief that people deserve support as they work toward a more stable future. We believe a difficult season should never define someone’s worth or limit their opportunity to move forward.
Our mission is to help adults build independence and stability through housing opportunities, everyday resources, community connections, and encouragement.
Our planned independent-living program is for adults age 18 and older, including veterans, adults with disabilities who can live independently, and individuals rebuilding their lives after incarceration.
We are working to open our first shared independent-living home—a welcoming space where residents can establish routines, pursue personal goals, and feel a sense of belonging. Our vision includes furnished bedrooms, utilities, Wi-Fi, and connections to food, employment, education, and transportation resources.
Our housing program is currently in development. We are raising funds, building partnerships, and gathering interest from future participants. Housing is not yet available.
While we work toward opening our first home, HUG reaches out to people experiencing homelessness through food outreach and community support. As our housing program grows, we hope to give participants opportunities to serve alongside us.
Every donation, volunteer effort, and partnership helps move HUG closer to opening our doors. Together, we can help more adults find stability, encouragement, and a place to belong.
