Current Projects and Volunteer Opportunities

1. Serve as a club officer – refer to bylaws for descriptions

2. Serve as a committee chair

3. Hostess/Host for our meetings: usually 4 people each month to provide coffee, snacks, and table decorations if so desired.

4. Fundraiser chair or co-chair or committee member

a. Calendar/Notecard Sales Committee

b. Calendar/Notecard Photography Committee

c. Gerten’s Plant Sale Coordinator and Disbursement Committee

d. Meat Raffle Committee

e. Other fundraising efforts as they present themselves

5. Serve on Grant Selection Committee

6. Library gardens

a. Clean-up and plantings outside

b. Inside watering and plantings

c. Holiday tree decorating (set up and take down)

7. Planting hanging baskets for downtown Hudson

8. Downtown orbs or other decorations for the winter holiday season as needed and other liaisons to the Hudson Chamber of Commerce.

9. Earth Day clean-up downtown

10. Food/Backpack Program participation

11. Teach community education class for kids

12. Oversee a HH&GC table at events

13. T-shirt sales

14. Create/disperse the yearly directory
