Assistant Professor, University of Bologna
Allegra De Filippo is an assistant professor at the University of Bologna whose research explores the cutting edge of Human-AI collaboration, particularly in creativity-driven domains. With a PhD recognized by EurAI as outstanding, she investigates how AI and humans can co-create in artistic settings—like robotic dance and visual arts—focusing on decision support, stochastic optimization, and hybrid offline/online systems under uncertainty.
Her recent work shines a spotlight on human-in-the-loop creative processes, earning her publications at top venues like IJCAI and JAIR. She is part of the interdisciplinary Performing Robots group, where she explores how AI impacts audience perception in live performances. Allegra also serves as Track Chair for the AI, Arts & Creativity track at IJCAI 2025, and is on the editorial board of ACM Computing Surveys.
Ph.D. Candidate, Imperial College London
Riccardo Bovo is a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at Imperial College London. His research focuses on making AI more interactive and personalized, with a particular emphasis on Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR). Leveraging the sensing and scene-awareness capabilities of these devices, he develop and evaluate behavioral inference models to power intelligent user interfaces that enhance collaboration and productivity in immersive environments. Prior to his PhD, he worked on 3D web customizers for the 3D printing industry.
