Hampton University offers a test-optional pathway for U.S. applicants who meet all the following criteria and opt out of merit scholarship consideration:
U.S. applicant (citizen or permanent resident).
Enrolled in a standard high school curriculum (not homeschooled).
A cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.6 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
Not seeking merit-based scholarships, as test scores are required for these awards.
SAT/ACT Scores Are Still Required For:
Merit scholarship consideration
International applicants
Homeschooled applicants
Applicants with an unweighted GPA less than 3.6.

To ensure a comprehensive review of your academic achievements and an accurate evaluation for potential transfer credits, please be aware that you must request that an official transcript be sent directly to the Hampton University Office of Admissions from each college or university where you completed dual enrollment coursework.
