Our day:

9:00am-  Registration and phonics

9:20am- 10:15 Indoor provision

10:15 am Snack time and Carpet time

10:30am- 11:30am Outside provision

11:35am-Tidy up time

11:45am- Home time and Lunch time in the Hall

12:15pm-  Outdoor provision (Reception Yard) 

12:45pm- Registration and Carpet input

1:00pm- 2:40pm Indoor provision
2:40pm - Tidy-up Time
3:00 - Story/Song Time

Your child will participate in small group adult directed activities across the day. These activities will be based around the curriculum areas. Our circle time varies from high quality texts, song time and a range of activities to support our learning.

Your child will participate in a daily phonics session. As a school, we use Little Wandle Letters and Sounds phonics scheme to support with reading. In Nursery, we provide the foundation for phonics which includes developing speaking and listening games. Our daily phonics lessons prepare children to hear sounds in the environment, understand rhyme and alliteration and to begin to blend simple CVC words e.g. c-a-t.

Every Tuesday morning, we go to the hall for a directed PE session. 

Every Friday afternoon, Nursery, Reception and Year 1 children all work together for Forest School. Each week children participate in a range of different activities which include; campfire, outdoor art, obstacle courses, baking, and large scale water play.
