We operate by appointment only. Each drop-off and pick-up must be at a scheduled appointment time made and confirmed by Lewis Lane Kennels. We have appointment times from 7am-9am and 4pm-6pm Monday through Friday, 8am-10am on Saturdays (no evening hours), and 7:30am-9am and 6pm-7pm on Sundays.
We have all pricing details listed under the Pricing tab! We do use calendar day billing for overnight boarding. However, we don't have a 2 day minimum charge (as is common among kennels). We charge on the day of drop off (regardless of appointment time) and every day your dog stays with us until they're picked up. That being said, if you decide to pickup your pooch during our morning hours, we do reduce that day to a partial fee, not a full day. There are no partial day fees on the day of drop off.
No, we don't require these at this time. Our staff and facility are equipped to conduct a temperament evaluation at the beginning of your dog's stay. We don't require group playtimes. Therefore, if a dog fails to pass our evaluation, they would have solo playtimes with one or more of our capable staff.
We'd direct you to the virtual tour posted on our Home page! When able, we will do in-person tours on Saturday mornings. However, we cannot guarantee there will be openings and do require a scheduled appointment in order to have a tour. Until then, we recommend watching our virtual tour or requesting photos of the facility! There are also many pictures of the facility on our website under the "Our Story" tab up top.
There are many ways to book a stay! You can call, text, email, message on Facebook, or book online from this website on either our Home page. If you haven't received a response within 24 hours, we apologize! Chances are we've accidentally missed the notification or were out working with the dogs!
We currently don't have a cancellation policy. We definitely appreciate a heads up if you aren't able to make your reservation. Starting early 2023, we will begin requiring a credit card to be on file in order to book a reservation over a holiday. That will turn into a standard procedure for both boarding and daycare. We'll hold a reasonable deposit that is refundable if notice is given...but more to come on that soon!
Our goal is to give your dog(s) a fun and relaxing day! Depending on the needs of your dog, that would range from multiple playtimes (indoor or outdoor depending on the weather) with other dogs or solo walks with one of our team members. It all depends on your pooch's temperament and socialization. Most of our guests go home and snooze after a long day of playing with their new friends! Daycare includes a time to rest and rehydrate and or snack.
