Regulation equipment includes:
Tennis ball
Wiffle ball bat
3 Strikes and 4 balls per at-bat. 3 Outs in one inning. A strike is if it hits the rectangle strike zone, the batter swings, and misses, or a foul ball. If the pitch misses the strike zone or hits the batter, it is considered a ball. The only way to walk is if 4 balls are thrown.
On-field positions include:
1st Base
2nd Base
3rd Base
Left Fielder
Center Fielder
Right Fielder
The pitch MUST be bounced on the ground to be considered legal. Any pitch reminiscent of a baseball or wiffle ball pitch (ie. never touching the ground) will not be recognized.
The tennis ball must be thrown at the strike zone or batter to get a batter running home out. The ball must hit either for it to count.
Pitchers Poison ONLY applies if there aren't enough people present at the game to fill the fielding position. Otherwise, the fielder must throw it to the respective base.
Starting pitchers must be relieved after 2 full innings.
Mound visits are allowed to sub out pitchers.
Pitchers that were taken off mound cannot pitch again after taken off.
Anyone can be a pitcher and hitter.
A Home Run is anything that goes over the outfield fence. Inside the park homers are possible.
No stealing or leading off bases.
Sliding into base is allowed, plowing into a defender is not.
Batting lineup must be made prior to the game by Team Manager and cannot change.
ONLY circumstance change can be made is if members of the team are absent.
Coaches/Managers are players as well.
If a Manager is pitching and the team wishes for a change, a majority vote must be made to get them off the mound. A Coach cannot abuse their power to stay at position.
Since Managers are also players, they are morally obligated to consider the opinions and ideas of players on their team. Full team cooperation and participation will create a better team.
Since there isn't video coverage (yet), reviews and challenges aren't possible.
Foul balls count as a strike, but you cannot foul out.
There is an 8-run limit per inning except for the 5th/last.
5 inning games. If tied in the 5th inning, the game can run for as long as possible if needed.
Players are not required to wear uniforms but are encouraged. If a player is not wearing their uniform, you must wear a color that pertains to your team.
Crusaders - Blue
Guardians - Red
Warlocks - Green
Swingin' Ducks - Yellow
Players can wear whatever hat they'd like with their uniform to add their personal touch.
Trades may only take place before uniform creation.
All teams make the playoffs and play in a 3 game-elimination series by seed.
The Finals Series is a 3 game series.
Trash talk related to anyone's sexuality, appearance, gender, race, or religion will not be tolerated. Heckling to a degree is allowed but will be 'monitored'.
