So why another blog?

I assume I want to feel important, like everyone else, and have some delusions of grandeur that anyone is going to care what I have to write. Or maybe I just want to collect all of my randomness in one place for easy storage and access. I'm sure I have a much better chance at succeeding at the latter. I currently work as a Locum Tenens Physician (hospitalist to be exact). Feel free to look those up if you don't know what they mean. I've been lucky enough to be able to travel a lot, both for work and for fun. I feel like I've learned quite a bit along the way, and maybe some of it will be useful to someone at some point. So I'm hoping that's what this blog will be about. While this is technically a business page (as HSWT is technically my business), I'll probably just write about whatever interests happen to be of importance to me that day. This will certainly include medicine, medical education, things about locum tenens, and with clinical informatics (the newest direction in my life, hopefully). But it will also have information about traveling, maybe even some reviews (that should get me free gear, right?), maybe some things about languages (I'm terrible at them, but they're fun), and maybe even some things about exercise and martial arts (about the only hobbies I have left, I think I lost all of the others in medical school).
