What is the HSVC GOTV Strategy?
Our strategy is focused on GETTING OUT THE VOTE within our communities in Garland and Saline counties. Our mission as a non-profit civic engagement organization calls on us to be champions of a just and equitable society.
Voting is one way we can make our voices heard and make change happen.

Focus: To serve immigrant families and detainees across Arkansas and beyond.
We have asked Kara, who leads this organization, to let us know when they have a gap to fill. Currently they are in need of chicken, beef, and produce.

The "3.5 percent rule" in social movements refers to the observation that sustained, nonviolent campaigns involving at least 3.5% of a population have never failed to achieve their goals. We have to continue this momentum to ensure we do achieve our goals both leading up to the mid-terms and the next election cycle!

Cara & Debbie cannot do this work without your support and volunteerism. We are asking for the following assistance:
Calendar Support - Keeping our online calendar up to date (training will be provided).
Mutual Aid Drive Leaders - We want to hold quarterly food drives and need a couple of people to coordinate these (we will provide you with a blueprint to do so).
Get Out The Vote Leaders - We need individuals to support getting out the vote through voter registration and carpooling during the early and general election in October/November.
