SAITIS 3.0 2021
Dr. Hsu’s project was recognized on Northern Illinois University’s Division of Research and Innovation Partnerships website as one of the externally sponsored DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusiveness) scholarly and service activities in the College of Education. Dr. Hsu’s SAITIS (Scientific Argumentation in Transportable Invention Space) project aimed to explore the influence of equity pedagogy on non-dominant middle school youths' attitudes toward science in after-school programs that incorporate making activities and scientific argumentation.
