Workshops

Conference Format


The conference will be composed of 4 workshops; see descriptions and details below. Participants are encouraged to take advantage of the online environment and visit as many workshops as they like. To facilitate greater exposure for all workshops, this year's workshops will be divided into two time-slots. Please see conference schedule for details.  

Workshop 1 - The Human Experience

Relating to SDGs such as, peace and justice, equity and well-being, presentations of this workshop focus on micro-level research that address the human experience. In this workshop you can find studies from a varied range of fields and disciplines, from brain science and psychology to political and communication studies – all highlighting actors’ and individuals’ perspective.

Workshop 2 -  Groups, Communities and Organizations

Relating to SDGs such; as decent work and well-being, presentations of this workshop focus on meso-level research that address groups and organizations. From intergroup interactions to organizations and their environment, in this workshop you can find studies from a varied range of fields and disciplines, such as economics, business and communication studies.

Workshop 3 - Thinking Big: Environments, States, and Policies

Relating to SDGs such as; economic growth, sustainable communities and affordable and clean energy, presentations of this workshop focus on macro-level research that address questions on policy and citizens-state relationships at different levels on different topics. In this workshop you can find studies from a varied range of fields and disciplines, such as environmental, political or economic studies.

Workshop 4 - Rights, Law and Justice

Relating to SDGs such as; justice, good health and gender equity, presentations of this workshop focus on human rights and justice from different angles and in different level of analysis. From minorities to court judges, in this workshop you can find studies from a varied range of fields and disciplines, such as law and criminology, gender and political science - all addressing societal questions regarding human rights.
