Welcome to our research group. Our main goal is to learn more about 'surface and interface engineering materials' and 'use this knowledge in advanced research'.
Specifically, we focus on developing versatile materials, particularly those derived from fluorine (in gas or liquid form) or other multi-functional polymers.
Recently, we have also been focusing on developing eco-friendly fluorine materials, which include alternatives to PFAS and non-hazardous fluorine substances.
Our team is also passionate about device engineering, exploring the possibilities of light-based soft materials, devices for energy storage and conversion, filters, intelligent sensors, and electronics that are flexible or can stretch.
저희 연구실은 표면 및 계면에 독특한 성능을 부여할 수 있는 다양한 (1) 다기능성 신소재 개발 및 (2) 불소 기반의 화학 소재 개발에 중점을 두고 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 또한, 친환경 대체 불소 기반 소재 연구도 수행합니다. 개발한 소재는 광전자기기, 전기화학기기, 필터, 스마트센서, 유연전자소자, 자기회복소자, 에너지저장/변환 소자 등 다양한 분야에 응용하고 있습니다.

We are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds in Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, and all related fields, who have experience in material science and chemical engineering.
