I am interested in theoretical quantum optics and ultracold atoms, where intriguing collective effects of radiation and nontrivial many-body dynamics emerge.
We have been working on resonant dipole-dipole interactions in super- and sub-radiance [PRA(2017)]; subradiance from a chiral-coupled atomic chain [PRA(2020), PRR(2020)] in an atom/nanofiber or atom/waveguide systems; quantum communication via frequency conversion [Nature Physics(2010)] and spectral entanglement; spin-incoherent Luttinger liquid [PRA(2018)]; EIT as a probe of strongly interacting many-body systems [PRA (Rapid)(2013)]; Recently, we have works on geometry-dependent skin modes and scale-free behaviors in 2D atomic arrays [Nat. Comm. (2022)], superior EIT cooling with nonreciprocal couplings [NJP (2022)], delocalization phenomenon in dissimilar arrays [PRR(2024)], and scalable graph states in an atom-nanophotonic interface [QST(2024)].
These studies show rich opportunities in building a quantum interface to manipulate quantum information, quantum engineer entangled states, and simulate many-body phenomena via controlling and tailoring the light-matter interactions.
