Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP)
Please share with students in the introductory STEM classes:
The LSAMP program is a CUNY-wide program that provides support for STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) freshman and sophomore students at Queens College to conduct research. The program supports 30 freshmen Apprentices and 10 sophomore Fellows.
During their sophomore year, the 10 LSAMP Fellows will work with a faculty mentor on a research project. Each Fellow will be paid a $3000 stipend upon completion of the fall semester, spring semester, and summer research program.
