Patrick Johnson

Senior Research Scholar

Dr. Johnson is the HSI-STEM grant's Senior Research Scholar and the Director of Articulation Agreements for the project. He does much of the grant's writing and data analysis while also communicating with faculty and administration at both campuses to create articulation agreements. These agreements are invaluable for transfer students who want to complete their STEM degrees in 4 years.

Throughout his career, Dr. Johnson has had many accomplishments in academia including serving as the Dean of Assessment at Dowling College, Academic chair at the School of Education at Dowling College, Deputy Director Medical Research Division National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University and professor and deputy chair of the department of psychology at Manhattan College. He is well written with many peer reviewed scholarly articles, and has also been successful in grantsmanship through his career. Dr. Johnson has acted as an external evaluator on multiple projects. His expertise is an asset to the HSI-STEM grant and team.
