Claim your Workshop Tickets (if you are registered)
When you leave the event, complete a post-survey for some space swag

First-come, first-serve
If you're NOT registered for a workshop, you may request a Waitlist Ticket on-site at the Waitlist Workshop table.
Important Guidelines:
🧒 Grades 3–12 only (must be with an adult)
🎟️ Up to two waitlist tickets per student (while supplies last)
🔁 No switching or doubling up – registered workshop participants are not eligible for waitlist spots
Waitlist Process:
✅ Prepare a ranked list of your top workshop choices.
🕘 Arrive early to claim a ticket (first-come, first-served).
🚪 Check in at your assigned Workshop Room 15 minutes before start time.
📢 If a spot opens, waitlist numbers will be called in order.
❌ If not selected, you cannot sign up for another waitlist.

Description: Whats a marine microbe? Join us in playing plinko while learning how to identify microbes. Explore our microbe pokemon cards as you learn what they do. Enjoy some yummy treats with us as we learn about the abundance of marine microbes in the ocean in comparison to more familiar organisms.

Description: What does ocean sound tell us? Visitors will learn about the technology scientists use to listen to sounds in the ocean and what it can reveal about ocean properties and the life within. Visitors can see a visual representation of their voice and will have a chance to guess the sounds that are commonly heard in the marine environment.

Description: Build a catapult using mainly popsicle sticks and rubber bands, and a few other supplies. The goal is to make the catapult so that it can launch a ping pong ball at distances of 8 feet, and land inside the cup. You will have 2 minutes per round.

Description: Keiki and ʻOhana, come join our explorations! We will build marble runs and pretend that each marble is a planet in what 5th grader Kylie B. named our “Universe Run”! We will use our best origami talents to fold paper aircrafts. Let’s bring our vivid imagination to build the best magnet structures! In our experiences, we will explore the effects of gravity, aerodynamics, and magnets.
