To be specific about our sphere of action and eligibility for voting, HSCA serves residents near Uphams Corner, a Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts 02125. The area served by HSCA is bounded on the east by Hancock Street, on the north by Columbia Road, on the south by Howe and on the west by Bellevue Street; however Hancock Street is included in its entire length from Columbia Road to Dorchester Avenue. Any resident of the HSCA neighborhood is welcome to become a Voting Member. For residents on boundary streets, HSCA will deem as Voting Members resident members from both sides of the boundary streets. For members on corners of boundary streets, HSCA will deem as Voting Members residents whose homes abut the boundary street even if the address of the property is not on the boundary street.

Anyone concerned about the neighborhood, however, is welcome to participate in our meetings and activities.
