Our Mission

The purpose of the Hancock Street Civic Association (HSCA) is to support and enhance the quality of life for residents of this diverse neighborhood. This is accomplished through:

• Bringing together residents in order to identify issues that may negatively impact quality of life and working together as a group to address those issues
• Working with elected officials, agencies, organizations and others to ensure that the concerns of residents are heard and to direct resources to the neighborhood that will improve public safety, enhance neighborhood infrastructure and provide high-quality amenities for residents.
• Evaluating potential residential, business and other development in the neighborhood to ensure that it will enhance and complement existing homes and businesses.
• Undertaking other efforts and initiatives that support the stated purpose.
