Tip 1: Listen to Videos of #hs4duo, Hum & Play-Along

In the past few weeks after Christmas & New Year break, one significant shift occurred with the use of #hs4duo Violin TABs 🎻🔢 - our five-year-old violin student Divine (name changed for safety) got into the grove to listen to our channel videos while mom is driving the car. She sings along and explores which songs she wants to play on her 1/16 violin. First, she found

Our violin teacher, Bi, has to teach the Divine to commit to one song at a time.

Divine argues, though, that she wants to practice all of them ... 🤩  

Last Saturday, during her violin lesson, Divine "invited" her teacher Bi to play along with the video of Dance Monkey together. They had a bliss reading the fingers from the Violin TAB video on the go, and I - listening to a real jam session. Mom explained that Divine treats the violin TAB as a video game where you must hit finger numbers on time.

I realized that the entire library of #hs4duo became a playground for this eager five-year-old. With parents willingly turning the #hs4duo channel ON, Divine explores all the content at will. No teacher is needed for her to choose her favorite tunes to play along. Imagine how fast such a bright kid may advance if she has a "sweet tooth" for playing & discovering on her own. The teacher's role is only to correct a thing or two and "Let it go." We cannot stop the stream of the river, can't we? Of course, we go through traditional violin teaching with Divine, but her favorite chosen songs are a different issue. Let us wish her all the best & patience for us to follow her progress along. The journey has just begun & we are on a fun ride together.

The bigger meaning of such exploration of the provided videos to all violin students (kids or adults) is that you may join the Divine's ride and have fun all together. Start with Dance Monkey, Believer, Despacito, Senorita, and Moana.
