Students if you missed the ALEKS Test OR who did not score high enough you CAN take the placement test on your own by:

1. Having applied to CLC

2. Having a CLC Username and Password (if they need to reset it they can call Registration Services: (847) 543-2061)

SELECT option 2

3. Log into their CLC portal – get to the ALEKS test

4. Watching this video start to finish: https://youtu.be/ueE11Msx3dw while following along.

5. The test is timed 2 hrs

From there you can take the test

Student who WANT to retest need to:

1. Have their Username and Password (if they need to reset it they can call Registration Services: (847) 543-2061) select option 2

2. Complete the study modules (after test attempt 1 it is there is a 3 hour study module)

After completing the study modules I encourage you to meet with me before you take that next attempt.
