Hristo Botev Primary School, Aheloy, was opened in 1927. It is attended by students from first to seventh grade - two hundred in total, divided into eleven classes and seven groups in full-time study.

OU Hristo Botev has 21 qualified teachers . Seven of them are active eTwinners who take part in numerous international projects. This year two of our projects were awarded with the eTwinning European Quality Label as well as the Highest recognition in each country - the National eTwinning Prize.
We also take part in Erasmus+ teachers'qualification courses in order to internationalise our school and to improve our teaching methodologies.
OU Hristo Botev is a Primary school which has around 200 students aged 7 - 14.

Each year numerous students' performances, exhibitions and concerts are organized in the school.

Children also participate in various extracurricular activities - applied arts studio, folk dance club, modern dance club, chess club, football club.
