Exciting News! Our new report on autism is now out! The report provides a summary of key findings and recommendations from a national survey and interviews conducted in the summer of 2023 with parents of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in Kazakhstan. The purpose of this report is to explore how children with autism access social and educational services in the country and identify barriers and facilitators to accessing private and publicly funded services (including those provided within the education system) in four regions across Kazakhstan. Our team received a highly competitive “Special Prize Award” (among 630+ applicants) for our social robot, MIRAI, sponsored by Visa Kazakhstan.
