HRC is a high-resolution chopper spectrometer designed for studies on atomic and spin dynamics in condensed matter in a wide energy and momentum space.
Moderator: Decoupled hydrogen moderator
Incident neutron energy: 3 < Ei < 500 meV
Scattering angle Horizontal : 3° ~ 62° (L2=4m), -31°~-13° (L2=4m), -5.1°~-0.6° (L2=5.2m)
Vertical: ±20° (L2=4m), ±4° (L2=5.2m)
Neutron intensity(@sample position @1MW) : 1x105 n/s/cm2 (ΔE/Ei=2.5%)
Energy resolution: ΔE/Ei ≥ 2% (@E=0meV)(dependent on Ei)
Maximum sample size: 4cm x 4cm
