SolidWorks is the first-ever CAD software for me. At first, it was very exciting. Working with this software was very user-friendly especially for beginners like me. I really love working on this platform.
Making 3D models as a beginner SolidWorks seemed quite fun and user-friendly but the rendering was not satisfying to me. So I decided to try out some rendering software like KeyShot, Adobe Dimension etc. KeyShot was my first rendering software. I began with KeyShot6. I really love the quality and the vivid detail of this software rendering. It really brings out the creativity in me.
People always told me that I should have started the computer-aided design with AutoCAD, at first 2D then 3D then I should have tried out other software like Solidworks but I found AutoCAD a bit complicated for me as a beginner. Besides I had a misconception that it was for civil engineers as I am studying in mechanical engineering. But it all cleared out when I faced a sessional course on AutoCAD during the 3rd semester of my BSc. course. Now I find AutoCAD really useful and fun to work with.
Finding out about this software was a very interesting event for me. I saw some people creating some 3D printed model which they designed in Autodesk Meshmixer. They were really cool looking models and had a voronoi type pattern cut. So i went to the internet to find out about it and here I am.
Before I started 3D modelling I was into Graphics Design. When got into my university I joined a career forum their named RUET Career Forum where I was assigned to design banners and posters during special days and occasions. I used both Photoshop CS6 and Illustrator CC to do these works and working with this software is really a great experience for me.
As I have told before I used both Photoshop CS6 and Illustrator CC but I actually enjoyed working with the Illustrator CC the most. It has various tools and this software is quite handy when it comes to creat random complex 2D shapes. The experience of working with this software is really a great.
This software is an inseparable part of my daily life.I find this software so comfortable to use that I even use this to make random simple logos instead of using Photoshop. From slide making to Graph and table making I always depend on PowePoint.
After the junior school certificate exam, my father was afraid that I would become a junkie as I had so many time to waste around. He decided to send me to a computer training center so that I could do something productive during that long vacation. There I learned how to type fast enough, and how to use MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. To be frank that decision of my father laid the foundation of what I am today and I am grateful for that.
I am really bad at graph and table making. Every time I need a table or graph to insert somewhere even if it is my lab report of my sessional classes I do not hesitate to use Excell to accomplish that. I find table and graph making super easy with this software.
As I used Adobe software a lot for my graphic design purposes, Adobe Dimension came to my notice. I was so eager to get this software that I installed a ransomware when I saw a free download link of this software. Then I found out it was not free software. Then I bought a CD of it. I lost many of my valuable data in that event which I never got back. I find this software a bit more complex than KeyShot but still, the experience of working on this software is really great.
