This easy to navigate website has information to offer on every step of the podcasting process. Useful subjects include ideas of where to find music and what to think of when creating cover art. Of note, they provide a section on how to record Skype calls when interviewing someone who is remote. You will have to dodge the annoying popups for their latest offerings.

A comprehensive and exhaustive resource on all there is to know about podcasting. While the layout is slightly confusing, under the "Getting Started" tab Lewis offers free recordings (i.e. podcasts) speaking to each step in the process of establishing a podcast as well as additional written instruction within each page. Of note, the "Getting Started" tab also leads to an organized list of free music and sound effects resources. The "Gear & Tools" dropdown tab also provides links to best equipment, media hosts, and WordPress themes for podcasts. For those who want extra assistance, Lewis offers consultations and video courses for a fee.

While NPR provided this resource for educators leading young students in podcasting lessons for the Student Podcast Challenge, the layout makes for a useful guide for those who need more structure for building their ideas. This guide offers thoughtful prompts to engage critically with story and sound. It also provides audio snippets and activities for continued learning. The "Additional Resources" section at the bottom of the page offers links to more guides, however half are focused on youth education.

Unfortunately, this guide was last updated in 2009.
