Storytelling with Data Visualizations
This site is a curated collection of graphs from the website Our World in Data. The graphs were selected because they provide information about global changes over time . The graphs are organized according to different areas of change, including demographics, health, education, human rights, the environment, and war. Under each topic, there are 8-10 graphs and brief explanations to help you read the graphs. The images of the graphs on the site are small, but if you click on the graph, it should link you to the source so you can view a larger version.
Your assignment is to work with group members to select 3-4 graphs that you think illustrate the most important changes over the last 100 or more years for your topic. You will present these graphs in a Google Slide presentation and explain why your group chose them. Remember to write your explanation under speaker notes.
