Now I’m going to follow up on my list of conflicts. I only have one conflict this week, which is good. When I email my teacher I’m going to say
Who I am
What the conflict or question is
When the conflict is
Depending on the situation I might need to say why it’s a conflict.
I’ll ask how I’m suppose to fix it , how to do the work in a different way, or I'll offer a suggestion.
For example, I would type
Ms. Smith,
This is Sally Baker from your advisory. I have a conflict with 3rd hour Advisory on Wednesday. I have a science meeting time for science at the same time. I can drop in to Advisory if we get done with class early. Is there anything else that I need to do to make this up?
Sally Baker
I will also read my schedule every night before I go to bed and frequently during the day to make sure I get all of my work done.
Since I’m not used to such a big time in between my classes I’m also going to put my class times in my calendar on my phone and set it to alert me before class starts. I will probably also need to set an alarm clock to make sure that I’m up in time to get my work done every day. I'll want to make sure that I set my alarm clock for early enough that I can get up, shower, eat breakfast, and be ready to go.
