How To Download Zap In Kali Linux

Tried to install on kali linux 20.02, it works mostly if you add som packages by yourselves. What finally breaks it is when you run the ctxinstall.sh and it tries to install winbind and so on. Anyone got it to work on kali linux if so which version?

As mentioned previously via Cannot install openvas in kali due to pg-gvm extension error - #5 by cfi it is strongly discouraged to use such older PostgreSQL versions which are left behind on the system for the simple reason that these are not getting e.g. security fixes anymore.

Thanks for the reply.Live boot in kali linux is just one great option and it has nothing to do with the primary usage of kali and kali is based on debian.

I thought of using joplin in kali cause of my HTB(Hack the Box) Writeups.

Similar to how Ubuntu itself disables third party repositories during release upgrades and how it does specific checks to ensure that the upgrade will be successful this warning has been put there to tell the user that the autor cannot ensure that everything will be working the way he intended if there are other active kali repositories. That's all.

Note that this doesn't mean that the tag should be removed. The tag indicates what the question is about. In my 1 year here, I don't think I've ever seen the tag kali-linux-tools used correctly. People usually use this tag when asking about Kali Linux, which will then be closed. And there already is a tag katoolin for the script that helps install Kali Tools on Ubuntu. e24fc04721
