I can see live feed from camera with no problem. The Alexa app is setup right to get alerts when someone rings the doorbell, but there is nothing on echo show when I ring the doorbell. Contacted the support got no where. Looked up some cases online tried few things with still no luck.

Usually if your Echo Show, shows you the waiting for Wyze screen and then goes back to its home screen that means the request timed out. Could be a network issue. Can you see the camera live view on the Wyze app on your phone? Are your Wyze and Echo on the same WiFi network?

I'm really getting sick of all the ads on my Amazon Echo Show. I have all the settings turned off so I should only see my rotating personal collection of photos, but today I saw an ad for "The Family Business" on BET plus. When I've contacted Amazon in the past, they said the ad was from the app provider who was sending it out and they couldn't control it, but this ad clearly said sponsored and was for service I don't have. It's so frustrating, I didn't pay for "echo show with ads." Every time I see one, I use the app to send feedback complaining but they always have excuses.

Not seeing this with any of my switches. I have installed 3 Wyze switches to date (installed within the last week). They all show in my Alexa app as switches. You could try removing and rediscovering if the cleanliness gets to you like it would me. But yea, if it responds by name NBD,

I also tried just a routine on a V3 I have at my front door so that when a Person is detected or the doorbell is pushed show the V3 camera on the Echo Show 15 and that worked as expected. The video launched. So for now just the VDB seems to not be compatible with the ES15 (new acronym for ya, lol).

Not sure what changed but they seem to be working. Now my wish is for an Alexa skill that enables yi/ Kami motion sensing to trigger routines. My Echo Show came with a blink mini, obviously not my first choice for a camera, but it is nice that it can trigger a routine so a couple lamps come on, Alexa notifies me sometimes at the door and shows the camera on the screen when someone approaches the front door.

This is very upsetting, seeing as though I just purchased my Eufy battery doorbell and waiting on my Echo show to come in the mail . I would not have purchased if I knew these two were not compatible with each other.

Since amazon has blocked the apps needed to accomplish this on newer firmwares I will tell you how i have gotten a newer echo show 15 to keep my ha dashboard open, mostly all the time. I think its easier as well.

Hi, your tutorial was great and it worked for my echo show. But is it possible to make it work on my Fire Tv. When I make it run on the fire tv it turns the screen black and goes back to where it was.

When I Drop-in or call my brother's Echo show 8, the call starts off providing real-time responsiveness, but shortly into the call, we start getting latency on the video, as the call goes on, the latency increases. This goes on until the video is 15 to 30 seconds behind the audio.

Do you have multiple eeros? We have 3 pros and 1 beacon. Devices don't always automatically connect to the nearest\best eero specifically my echo shows. If there's a software update or reboot, the echos connect to the first available eero device instead of the closest\strongest. I have a first generation echo show and when I tried to display astro images on it, they looked washed out and super low res. And when I looked at amazon reviews of various digital photo frames, the displayed images didn't look all that great.

Recently I was at bestbuy and saw echo show 15 on display. The image quality looked pretty decent and it was on sale so I picked it up. Here are two photos of it in action. One showing how it looks compared to my monitor and another by itself.

The actual image on echo show 15 is much better than how it looks in the photo. I think the exposure setting on my camera blows out the colors. The colors are little warmer than my monitor and there is definite blurring, but overall I vastly prefer how echo show 15 displays the images than any of my prints.

So far I've found two ways of displaying images on echo show 15. One is in Photo Frame mode, where the images fill the screen. Other is in Home Screen mode. The images are displayed on the left side of the screen, while the right side includes things like calendar, favorite photos, weather, etc.

To set up the images for display, all I had to do was upload the images to an album in Amazon photo, go to echo show 15 settings, and then select the album for display. Unfortunately there's not much customization in terms of how the photos are rotated. You can choose the speed of photo rotation (24, 12, or 6 seconds), but you can't select transitions between the images.
