I got banned for using a very simple bucket filling script I made. I ran it for 6 hours and was banned sometime last night during the update. How can I make my bot less detectable?? Would adding random sleeps and random clicks change anything? How are more complex bots made that go undetected for long periods?
Oh i'm not denying what I did was detectable lol. I'm just wondering if there is any way around it. I was thinking of maybe combining scripts in a randomized manner that would call on one script and begin a new task, and then after a randomized amount of time call on another script so that there is really no repetition. But from reading the ban avoidance thread it seems like there is no way to avoid ban. The weird thing to me is I've used many scripts on RSbot to level my accounts to max and I was never banned. These were free scripts I left running for 10 hours a day sometimes. That tells me there are ways of remaining undetected. That's what i'm asking about here.
You learn how to make scripts last longer by writing alot of scripts and exsperimenting with what works and what doesn't you can't expect to last super long if your new no matter how many small tips people give (people won't say their real tricks anyways) all tips you wil get here are either trolls or common bullshit that everyone already knows. No offence man just the truth
Something that might also help is not botting for 6 hours straight collecting & or filling buckets. I dont even know if any venezuelans would be able to do that for 6 hours straight if they were getting $0.3 usd p/h
LOL its ridiculous how venezuelans are gold farming hard core now. And I know bro. I'm literally in a testing phase rn trying to figure out how to make bots that can stay unbanned for some decent period. I'm testing it on very arbitrary tasks so that I can just get a feel of how fast/why we get banned. I'm now going to update the above script and will re-run the bot for another 6-10 hours tonight. results will be posted here. Stay tuned

First of all you need to buy a private proxy. But, why do I need a private proxy? Well if you are going to use public proxies, there is very high chance that other gold farmers are also using those proxies (same IP-addresses). The chance of getting banned using those public proxies is very high. Private proxies on the other hand are password protected. So you will be the only one using that proxy (IP-address).
When you buy a proxy you can pick a proxy type. Make sure that you pick the Standalone Private Socks5 Proxy Server NOT the Standalone Private HTTP Proxy Server. Next to the proxy type you can also select a location. At Virmach ( > Runescape VPS Plans > Buy RS Botting Plan) you can pick many locations). I suggest that you pick the one that is closest to you. Make sure that you remember the hostname and Root Password that you want to use (you will also get an email with this information).
If you are planning the get a private script made its very important that you first find an awesome method. I have used and heard about many private scripts and mostly you see the same concept: the script buys stuff in a shop anywhere in Runescape and sells it for a profit in the Grand Exchange. An example of this concept is a karambwan buyer script. It starts in Camelot with some starting cash and walks to Catherby to take the boat to Brimhaven. Once youre there it will go over to The Shrimp and Parrot restaurant and buy a full inventory of cooked karambwans by hopping the worlds. After that it teleports you back to Camelot (using a tele tab) and the proces restarts. After the script reached a certain amount of karambwans it would go to the GE and sell them. This way the script is selfsufficient and can be run for an infinate time period. This was a private method that worked very well back in the day and people made big profits using this. Nowadays this method is dead, as there are just too many people that know about the method (the restaurant is always out of stock). The concept of buying and selling is still very much alive though and you should always try to find new methods. If you find it hard to be creative and come up with a nice method, you should definately use this concept. If you really cant come up with a method yourself you could always buy a method of other people on forums etc. (watch out for scammers though).
