Background:  Mental health problems are highly prevalent in university populations and have been shown to impair academic performance. Yet little is known about the ways in which mental health influences academic outcomes in higher education.

Conclusions:  This descriptive study offers further evidence of the importance of mental health for university success, identifying pathways related to students' experiences and expectations that may help to explain this relationship.

The State Hygienic Laboratory website and results web portals (OpenELIS and Neonatal Screening) were unavailable longer than expected due to system upgrades on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

SHL web portal accounts are not for patients. Patients need to obtain their test results from their medical facility/provider. Test Iowa patients will receive their test results from the Test Iowa program.

The Open Enterprise Laboratory Information System (OpenELIS) Web Portal contains environmental, safe drinking water, clinical, rabies, and maternal screen test results. It can also be used to electronically order Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Influenza tests.

This legacy web portal can be used to retrieve test results for clinical samples received prior to March 1, 2015, rabies samples received prior to Nov. 1, 2016, and maternal screen samples received prior to June 20, 2017.

In some cases, results may become visible earlier than the release date. If you check your results early and do not see all your results, please be patient; your results will be released by the published results release date.

You find your admission results by logging in to your account at the universityadmissions.se website. No official letter is sent from the University with your admission results. Admission results are only notified online in your universityadmissions.se account.

You will need to print the notification of results from your universityadmissions.se account as proof of your admission (a printed copy is needed for residence permit applications and for many other situations). Read more at universityadmissions.se:

If you are offered admission after applying in an international application round (mid-October to mid-January for autumn studies or early June to mid-August for spring studies), please follow the instructions from Lund University. If you are asked to actively accept your place, you will receive a message from Lund University in your universityadmissions.se account, email and/or through this website. In addition to this, there may be other enrolment requirements set by your department or programme that you will need to follow. If you do not want to accept your admission offer, you must always decline the place in your universityadmissions.se account.

If you applied in the later (Swedish/EU) application rounds (mid-March to mid-April for autumn semester studies, or mid-September to mid-October for spring semester studies), then in order to keep your place in the programme you must actively accept your offer through your universityadmissions.se account. If you do not accept your offer by the deadline, it will be given to another student. Read more about how to reply to your offer at universityadmissions.se:

Closing in on two years since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, S.C. voters were asked what they think the U.S. should do regarding the continuing conflict. When given two possible options, 1 in 5 South Carolina voters are unsure. Forty-one percent support Ukraine in reclaiming territory Russia has captured even if it results in a more prolonged conflict, while 34% want the U.S. to try to end the conflict as quickly as possible, even if it means allowing Russia to keep territory it has captured from Ukraine.
