iCloud Photos keeps your photos and videos safe, up to date, and available automatically on all of your Apple devices, on iCloud.com, and even your PC. When you use iCloud Photos, you don't need to import photos from one iCloud device to another. iCloud Photos always uploads and stores your original, full-resolution photos. You can keep full-resolution originals on each of your devices, or save space with device-optimized versions instead. Either way, you can download your originals whenever you need them. Any organizational changes or edits you make are always kept up to date across all your Apple devices. Learn how to set up and use iCloud Photos.

The photos and videos that you keep in iCloud Photos use your iCloud storage. Before you turn on iCloud Photos, make sure that you have enough space in iCloud to store your entire collection. You can see how much space you need and then upgrade your storage plan if necessary.

I know this is not the answer you want but

a) you can transfer via bluetooth maybe and

b) if you have the photos on the SD card and the SD card is set as external you can insert the SD in the computer. If you have the SD card as internal, once you have copied the data I would reformat it as external and keep all your personal data on the SD card.

Your antivirus software is designed to protect your computer from malicious malware, however it can also prevent your phone or tablet from being able to export photos to your computer. Check your software to make sure this isn't causing you problems.

When you first connect your device to your PC it may pop up a notification indicating that your phone or tablet is charging. Tap on this to change the settings to "Connected as media device" so that data can be transferred.

Any photos that you've taken on your Samsung smartphone can be transferred to your PC for storage, editing and sharing. This process uses the USB cable supplied with your device however there are also ways to automatically back up your photos.

I know lots of people now only have mobile devices so how do you manage your shop effectively? almost all but to revice some section on listng cant, and i have trouble showing the section category on my iphone that the phone showing half of the page

I use my desktop PC, mainly my Windows PC, but sometimes I also use my Apple Mac to list items and deal with orders. I do have the app(s) on my phone for notifications and any messages that I may receive (handy when I am away from home). I use my bridge camera for photos, which are uploaded to my PC to process, and then uploaded to Etsy when creating the listing. I would not rely solely on mobile apps, as they are limited, and I have used them previously to list an item, it was much more time-consuming than doing so from a desktop PC (or laptop using a browser).

My HP laptop mostly. It's just easier to get things done and I'm home a lot anyway. Typing with a keyboard is srtill quicker than on a phone in my opinion. I use the app on my Samsung phone to view incoming messages and sometimes to make drafts or list some items that don't require to much work and a larger screen.

Phone, but browser not the app for daily tasks and check ins. Although updating the shop announcement and marking orders shipped is easier on the app. And I upload photos straight into the listing from my phone.

I use a laptop for everything buying and selling and have an info photo on all items recommending buyers to read the full description on a laptop because etsy hide a lot of info on a phone. I keep my phone for taking photos and making shop updates (which sellers say has been removed from the new app... typical). I have no idea how people buy items on a phone without the full info, no wonder there are complaints about size, how long it takes to arrive, colour or where it comes from, I think some must just look at photos and press buy. If I'm buying something I want to view it properly, not on a 2 1/2" x 4" screen and I want to read exactly what I'm getting and check the shop's reviews.

Laptop. 75% of the time, mobile - 25%. Here's the thing, though - when I'm sitting at my laptop, I'm usually having coffee or a break, and have multiple tabs open, cruising and wasting time. When I shut that down and get to actually working, I have my phone next to me for notifications and messages.

I have a tablet, laptop, phone and desktop but prefer the desktop unless I am away from home which is rare.Bigger screen and keyboard and easier photo editing..again larger screen so I can touch up photos easier.

I replaced my desktop with a laptop some time ago, and that's what I use - Windows 10, usually with Chrome. I use a Canon camera for photos. I wouldn't know how to edit photos on my phone (I use PaintShop Pro on my laptop) or how to upload to a listing.

- Phone mainly for notifications (maybe occasional listing renewal or response to messages that just need a brief answer) and some photos (which I transfer to laptop for editing and I also use a camera for some photos)

You may have snapped thousands of photos on your Android phone over the years. Maybe you're preparing to wipe your old phone to trade it in for a new Samsung Galaxy or just want to look at your photos on a big screen instead of the little black slab in your hand. No problem. You can transfer your photos to your Windows computer in a few different ways.

I'm having a little problem understanding the difference between 'Remove from iPhone' vs Download Photos & Videos. I have 8k photos on my iPhone 13 and when I delete any of them I see them being deleted from my photos library. This was great that it showed me how to fix this problem. The "Download Photos & Videos" (in blue writing) does that mean that if I chose that option I have to go to my photos on my mac after deleting each one off my phone to if they are deleting off my phone but staying on my computer? I'm confused.

But what makes me nervous is that all my 7k photos on my phone, is are they going to come off my photos app on my iMac? I notice that (I don't know what I did a few months ago) but every photo and video that is on my iphotos and photos app is on my phone. Its like a mirror. My phone Iphone 13 is less than a year old and full of photos from my imac

I notice that everytime I delete a photo from my phone I see it coming off my "Photos" app right in front of my eyes, even the ones from 2010. I just want my phone clear of those photos and not deleted from(not icloud) but my computer 'Photos app like it was before.

I'm nervous to that when I go to iCloud photos on my phone and turn off 'Sync this phone" and a menu pops up saying,'Remove from iphone (in red text) and at the bottom of that , another choice 'Download Photos & Videos(in blue text) will all those photos from 2010- till now be deleted?

When you have iCloud Photos enabled on your devices signed in with the same Apple ID, your photos are updated automatically across your devices. If you have iCloud Photos enabled on your iPhone and Mac, delete a photo from your iPhone, it is also removed from your Mac.
