Using system settings I changed my language to Arabic and deleted the English language from the settings. Then the computer lagged and it logged out - now I can't log back in because the login is in Arabic.

Hi, i have been following the show for more than four years and have pretty much gone though all the esisodes. I Love it. I have bumped into a small yet irritating problem and as we all know google has the answer to everything. I tried googling, I didn't find any specific answer. I have tried using WIFIslax and have gone through the SLAX a little bit. THE PROBLEM is the installed language SPANISH. I don't speak or understand spanish and tried different ways to solve it.

How To Change Language In Wifislax

As many you know the WIFIslax version 4.2 Final is out. All the updates are lovely except one... theres no option to boot it in english. So I tried something. I copied the "009-english.xzm" from the WIFIslax 4.1 ISO and put it in the base folder... My trick did work out. I got English menu and interface, but certain menus and programs has not changed. I am not concerned with the menu items but airoscript-ng and other Wifi auditing program is still speaking spanish.

Check to see if there is a quick fix, like an apt-get install language pack or something like that for the distro. If not, switch to a different distro, or build from source(good luck with that). You could also try checking the pre-set repos, and adding in ones form english sites, uninstall a program, then reinstall it from one of the english repos, but not sure of there is also something you would have to do to prepare kernel sources and such, if much of it is hard coded to Spanish.

The Wifislax ISO image [2], which weighs in at just 630MB, fits perfectly onto a CD. When launched, the system comes up with an unusual GRUB screen: You can then change the language setting to English in the first step and select whether to boot Wifislax with a conventional or PAE kernel. In a second splash screen, you can specify whether you prefer KDE SC or Xfce as your desktop environment.

And restart the browser to have the interface localized in French. Notice how the message is displayed in both languages, to provide users with another hint to the user that they selected the right language.

This feature is enabled by default in Beta and Release versions of Firefox. Language packs are not reliable on Nightly, given that strings change frequently, and a language still considered compatible but incomplete could lead to a completely broken browser (condition known as yellow screen of death, where the XUL breaks due to missing DTD entities).

First of all, there are still a few bugs to fix (you can find a list in the dependencies of the tracking bug). Sadly, there are still several places in the code that assume the language will never change, and cache the translated content too aggressively.

There are also areas of the browser that are not covered by language packs, and would need to be rewritten (e.g. the profile manager). For these, the language used always remains the one packaged in the build.

Finally, the victim must enter the network password into the sometimes sketchy-looking phishing page they are redirected to after joining the open network the attacker has created. There are a lot of clues that could tip a sharp user off to the fact that this page, including the wrong language, wrong brand of router (if the phishing page mentions it), or misspellings and Engrish in the text of the page. Since router pages usually look pretty ugly, these details may not stand out to anyone unfamiliar with what their router's admin page looks like.

In the last step before launching the attack, we'll set the language of the phishing page. The page provided by Airgeddon is pretty decent for testing out this style of attack. In this example, we'll select 1 for English. When you've made your selection, press Enter, and the attack will begin with six windows opening to perform various functions of the attack simultaneously.

4. UPGRADES AND UPDATES . While Belkin is not required to do so, Belkin may provide you with upgrades or updates to this Software. This Agreement will govern any upgrades provided by Belkin that replace and/or supplement the original firmware and/or Software, unless such upgrade is accompanied by a separate end user license agreement, in which case the terms of that end user license agreement will govern. If you decide not to download and/or to use an upgrade or update provided by Belkin, you understand that you could put the Software at risk to serious security threats or cause the Software to become unusable or unstable. Some Products include an auto-update feature, which gives us the ability to make updates automatically. You can change auto-update options by changing your settings within the Product account information. In very limited cases, updates may still be automatically applied, regardless of the auto-update setting. For example, we may provide an automatic update that fixes a security breach or vulnerability to your network. We may also provide you with updated Software data files automatically to benefit you, such as to provide you with updated device information to identify new devices in your network. These data files do not update your firmware but consist of Software files that are cached on your Product and override older files. By agreeing to this Agreement, you agree to automatic updates.

This Agreement is not intended to and does not: (i) change or exclude any statutory consumer rights that cannot be lawfully changed or excluded; or (ii) limit or exclude any right you have against the person who sold the Product to you if that person has breached any sales contract with you. You agree to use the Software in compliance with all applicable laws, including local laws of the country or region in which you live or in which you download or use the Software.

I'm going to run further tests in case.

My first question though, is do we expect to have the Orange Pi 3 LTS supporter with the same image as the Orange Pi 3 ? In which case it becomes a supported model etc, etc... At first i would think yes but they kinda changed hardware for connectivity which is an uttermost priority, so...

Also, Armbian being listed as an OrangePi , I thought they would potentially provide some samples for testing and development to more "capable" people than me haha

Will any of those changes to the kernel and u-boot be added to their respective upstreams? I've been looking at porting other distros to this, but most of the time the upstreams don't seem to work properly.

Further network blocks may be added manually, or using wpa_cli as illustrated in #Connecting with wpa_cli. In order to use wpa_cli, a control interface must be set with the ctrl_interface option. Setting ctrl_interface_group=wheel allows users belonging to such group to execute wpa_cli. This setting can be used to enable users without root access (or equivalent via sudo etc) to connect to wireless networks. Also add update_config=1 so that changes made with wpa_cli to example.conf can be saved. Note that any user that is a member of the ctrl_interface_group group will be able to make changes to the file if this is turned on.

So i have this problem, Firefox won't load when i connect with one wifi but when i change my connection to different wifi it'll work again. even though the first wifi works just fine on my computer seeing as i can connect to internet with a different browser.

To clean up, simply remove the file captures, close your terminals, and run the command service NetworkManager restart to change your network card back to managed mode so you can connect to the Wi-Fi.

It might not be related to your problem, but try installing the intel-ucode package and setting up the microcode updates. There may have been some changes that are causing your kernel to crash. I only mention this because the kernel on the live medium has the microcode updates and it doesn't crash for you.

Once your repeating or sharing a connection, you can see exactly who is using the connection via tabs. The Management field allows you to change the language of MyPublicWiFi or check the log of connections you have made.

Wifislax simply opens a terminal and calls the appropriate program with the Help function, so you see the complete list of parameters in each case. Thanks to two scripts in the menu, you can use the program suite conveniently in a question-and-answer style, but this is only useful for users with knowledge of Spanish, because all the prompts are exclusively in the Spanish language.
