Running Late?
If your dancer will be late to drop off, even as little as five minutes, you will need to contact the chaperone's cell phone. We run on a very tight schedule in rehearsals and backstage, and this will help to avoid any confusion or panic.
In case late arrival, you may be asked to drop your dancer off at the Wortham Theater Stage Door and not at the Center for Dance (please see photo).
Do not drop your dancer off at the Wortham Stage door unless you have spoken to a chaperone and there is an Academy staff member present.
Wortham Theater Stage Door - 510 Preston Street, Houston, Texas 77002
Illness/ Emergency for Rehearsal & Performance
If you believe your child will be unable to attend rehearsal, immediately contact Ms. Beth, Ms. Lucinda, and Reagan via email AND text the chaperone cell phone.
Do NOT contact the HB Academy email address.
If you cannot reach any of the above, please then contact reception at the Center for Dance for further assistance.
*IMPORTANT* Cell phones do not work in some areas of the Wortham Theater. Please leave a voicemail AND send a text message to the chaperone’s cell phone until you receive a response on performance days.
