We change your bed linens regularly. Upon request, we can change your bed linens daily. If you would like new towels, please place your used towels on the floor. We will replace them. Further information can be found in the menu under

Our breakfast buffet is served from 6.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. in our winter garden.

If you can’t enjoy our breakfast, it is possible to order a lunch package instead. Please place your order one day in advance until 6 p.m.

City centre of Meppen

The city centre of Meppen is only a short walk away from the hotel. You exit the parking lot and turn right. After crossing the bridge (about 100m) you have reached your destination. Here, you can visit the shopping street or take a walk across the market place to the town hall. The weekly market, located in in the city centre pedestrian zone, is open every Tuesday and Saturday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

At the reception we provide you with a map of Meppen at no charge.

Cyclists

If you would like to go on a bicycle tour around Meppen, we are happy to reserve a bicycle at the Hase-Ems-Rad service for you. The bikes may be picked up at the bike station or may be delivered to the hotel at your convenience. Please contact the reception or, if you prefer, the bike service:

Our house is located in a central location and bicycle routes run right past our hotel. The bicycle routes start right and left of the Hase-Hubbrücke (bridge over the river Hase), which is located just 100m from the hotel.

We provide our cyclists with a bike garage at no charge. Furthermore, we provide tools to clean and repair your bicycles free of charge.

Cycling Maps for your tour may be found at the reception. The Tourist Information Meppen in the city centre will assist you as well if you need further information.

Doctor/Pharmacy

The next pharmacy is at the railway station, next to the post office. Should you be in need of medical assistance, please call the reception.

Dogs are welcome in our hotel. We charge an additional 6,00€ per night for the resulting special room cleaning.

Fire Extinguisher

The fire extinguishers are located on each floor in between the building sections. Please make yourself familiar with the escape routes.

The fitness studio “Sport Parc Emsland” offers a broad range of fitness activities. In addition to sports equipment there is a sauna and a solarium.

Indoor swimming pool

The Emsbad is a modern indoor swimming pool, located next to the campsite about 1 km from the hotel. It offers a whirlpool, a separate toddler’s pool, a waterslide and a steam bath.

Both the reception and the Tourist Information Meppen (TIM) provide information brochures about Meppen and the Emsland, as well as recommendations for day trips in the area.

All our rooms have a minibar. You are welcome to use this for your personal items. There are two public refrigerators in the hotel, from which you are welcome to take items at any time. Tip: If you forgo room cleaning, the items are free. Please note the applicable rules (see Room Cleaning Information)

Railway station/bus station

Both stations are located only 200m away from the hotel.

Exit the hotel through the main entrance and turn left passing the florist´s shop Moss. Cross the small bridge and pass the post office. You’ll find the train station on your left hand side.

Reception

Our reception is open until around midnight.

If you want to contact us, please dial the 490.

Your room key also unlocks the night entrance door, which is located at the parking lot side of the building.

If you would like to arrive after midnight, we will place your key in the key deposit box. Please contact us in advance so that we can accommodate you with a code to open the key deposit box.

Restaurant

Our restaurant is open from 10:00 a.m. to 13:30 p.m. Evening opening times are from 18:00 p.m. to 21:30 p.m.

Our chef de cuisine and his team will gladly prepare meals that fit a vegetarian diet.

Roomservice

We´re happy to bring you drinks during 07:00am to 22:00pm and food during 07:00am to 21:00pm to your room. While the restaurant is open you also can order meals from the actually card.

For every order we bring to your room, we charge € 2,50 extra.

Safes

Every room is furnished with a safe in the wardrobe. The manual for the use of which is placed next to it. We assume no liability for valuables which are left or lost in the hotel room.
