Hot Cold Globe is a daily geography puzzle for iPhone: find the hidden country on a 3D globe that glows warmer the closer each guess lands. Made by Ouadie Zerhouni.
How do I play?
Every day there is one hidden country. Type any country and press Guess. Your guess lights up on the globe: the warmer the colour, the closer it is to the hidden country. Keep guessing until you find it.
How is "close" measured?
By the shortest distance between the two countries' borders. Countries that share a border show "Shares a border".
When does the daily puzzle change?
At midnight in your local time. Everyone gets the same country on the same date.
What is the hint?
After a few guesses you can reveal the continent of the hidden country. Using it is shown in your shared result.
My streak reset.
A streak counts days in a row where you solved the daily puzzle. Missing a day or giving up resets it.
The colours are hard to tell apart.
Open Settings, then Colours, and choose Colour-blind friendly.
Why is a territory missing or named differently?
Country names and borders come from Natural Earth (public domain). If something looks wrong, tell us.
