Short Bio
I am an associate professor of Economics at The New Economic School. I serve as an associate editor at Macroeconomics Dynamics. I have published my research in leading journals such as the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Economic Growth, the Economic Journal and the Journal of Development Economics. My research interest includes growth and development, demographic economics and gender economics. I focus on understanding the determinants of long-run economic growth, poverty, inequality and households' choices. My research also concentrates on new demographic trends evolving in developed and developing countries.
I have received a B.A. in Economics and Accounting and Ph.D. in Economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
